coaches
Rafael Panizza played 4 years in the NCAA Divison 1 for 4 years in the US before coming to Canada. She won most her matches for 2 years playing for Concordia and was awarded best players for during those 2 years.
Valentin Oswald also played 4 years for Concordia before Coaching the team. He has been coaching the team for the last 3 years. Coming from France and being a tennis academy coach, he brings amazing technical expertise.
captains
Each year the team elects captains to help facilitate practices, replace coaches when need be, make the team budget, and act as signing officers for the Concordia Student Union. During the 2022-2023 season, the team had four captains: Souheil Al-awar, Metin Tunali, Sage Cheddadi & Mylia Mpondo

It was Souheil last season with the team as he acted as a signing officer for CSU and helped set up the team constitution & structure in the summer of 2022.
​
It was Metin's 4th year on the team and 2nd as a captain. He acted a signing officier too and help manage the team budget with Souheil.
​
It was Sage 4th year as well, continuing to be the team's best player. A leader on and off the court, she also contributed in the global organization when the team goes to sherbrook or Québec. She is called "Mom" by the other players.
​
It was Mylia 4th year on the team and 1st as a captain. She is a leader on the court, she always brings a top game during matches and she is never afraid of a fight.
​
We hope some of our captains come back for the 2022-2023 season but we also look forward to having other players take on new responsibilities as well:)
